“Nothing can dim the light which shines from within.” —Maya Angelou
To be honest with you, I didn’t know about Maya Angelou till President Clinton invited her to recite the poem on his inauguration in 1993. Some of her writings and work touched me ever since that time for I could relate to my personal situations. Most of her quotes reflect from her own experience and people around her. She has been successful in sending convincing messages on the feelings of people who are deprived of their basic rights like others.
She taught us to live as confident individuals who wouldn’t be scared with failures rather converting the adversaries to advantage. The sufferings being faced by many in societies around the world should change for a better tomorrow wherein everyone enjoys their life the way they deserve naturally. That would be the greatest tribute to her as I pay homage to the Genius of Maya Angelou.
